How we ship

    1. To insure freshness we ship within three days of receipt of order Monday through Thursday.

    2. We ship via USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail.

    3. Overnight delivery via UPS is also available, please contact us via email or call 617-947-3326.

    4. We prefer not to ship orders on Fridays as to avoid weekend delays.  Orders placed on Thursday or Friday may not ship until the following Monday.

  1. P.O. Boxes & international addresses

    1. We do not ship overseas at this time. or to PO boxes using overnight delivery   Orders shipped using USPS Priority (2-3 day) may be shipped to PO boxes.

  2. Warm climate

    1. WOW. When the weather heats up we start to pay close attention to shipping destinations. Heat and chocolate can ruin the best of surprises.  We will prepare your package very carefully and for warm climate states in the south such as Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Southern California we require warm weather packaging and USPS Priority (2-3 business days) or Express Overnight shipping, depending on the forecast. From May through the end of September we may suspend shipping altogether or insist on overnight delivery. If necessary we will contact you to talk about the weather. Should you decide to cancel your order we will refund you via Pay Pal.


    2. We all love surprises, especially when they arrive in the mail or UPS. However it’s important that you help insure that your gift doesn’t sit for too long uncollected.  Please make sure the recipient will be home to receive your gift. We can’t be responsible for packages left too long in the warm weather.


    3. We have been very fortunate and trust that the US Postal Service should deliver your package on time. However, we can’t assume responsibility once the package has left our grotto for things like:

    5. Returned packages due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses or individuals no longer at that address

    6. Lost packages due to theft or damage incurred once it has been delivered

    7. Packages left too long in warm weather

With extensive heat, inconsistent deliveries and that terrible feeling that comes from disappointing our dedicated and loyal customers we may suspend shipping from late June into September depending on weather here in the Northeast.  email or call 617.947.3326 for local deliveries.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

Pick-ups

    1. If you’d like to stop by the grotto to pick up your order choose “pick up” under shipping options when placing your order. Please contact us via email, call 617.947.3326, or by using the link on the Thank You confirmation page to confirm a date and time.

  2. Double check your recipient's address before submitting your order. Sirenetta Seaside Chocolatier is not responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer

  3. Most orders are shipped either the next day or within two days. Custom orders or orders of large quantities may take longer

  4. We try to avoid having our chocolates sit in a shipping facility, warehouse or delivery truck over the weekend. Therefore orders placed on Thursdays or Fridays may not get shipped until the following Monday

  5. If your shipment is overnight we can not deliver to a PO box

  6. Make sure you have your order shipped to someplace where your chocolates won't sit outside in the heat. We recommend using a business address if there is no one home to receive them

  7. Please contact us if you have questions about shipping

  8. Shipments are also subject to the weather conditions at the destination location. If it is unseasonably warm at the recipient's address, we may contact you about changing your shipping to Overnight

Orders received

  1. Between 9:00 am Thursday and 9:00 pm Saturday will likely go out on Monday

  2. Sunday orders should go out by Tuesday

  3. on or just before a holiday will ship within two days after that holiday (special orders or large quantity orders may require additional time)

Refund Policy

  1. We do everything we can to take care in packaging our chocolates,  If for any reason your package arrives damaged, please call within 24 hours so we can address the problem and ensure your satisfaction.
